CID autumn meeting

Join the CID autumn meeting on Thursday 14th November 2019 in Utrecht to meet and learn about CID research and activities.

Programme

Ellen Hamaker will present her CID plans. Ellen is a professor of Longitudinal Data Analysis at the UU Methodology and Statistics Department of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. In December 2018 she joined CID as a new PI in work package 4. As CID PI, Ellen hopes to foster cross-fertilization between statistics and substantive fields.

Mariëlle Zondervan-Zwijnenburg will talk about her CID special issue paper ‘Combining multiple cohort data: The development of behavioural control‘. The main purpose of Mariëlle’s postdoc is to combine results across CID cohort studies using a Bayesian research synthesis technique (more information here).

Sharing our science through knowledge utilisation is important. Mara van der Meulen will talk about ‘Science communication – social outreach within L-CID‘. Just a small teaser is this tv fragment aimed at children in which Mara van der Meulen and Michelle Achterberg talk about MRI scans: ‘Kun je emoties zien in je hersenen?! – Topdoks extra
