Dutch government invests in education and youngsters in a resilient society
On 15 September, the Knowledge Coalition chaired by Louise Gunning launched their investment plan, which reserves an extra 1 billion euros for research and innovation. One day later, the Ministry of van Education, Culture and Science announced an investment of 20 million in three themes featured on the Dutch National Research Agenda. One of these themes is education and youngsters in a resilient society.
CID has campaigned to put youth on the Dutch National Research Agenda. We were able to show how many researchers already support this theme (you can see their names here , available in Dutch only). This has certainly contributed to the fact that youth is now recognised as an important topic.
