CID kick off symposium

On October 11 the kick off meeting of the gravitation program Consortium on Individual Development (CID) has taken place. During the kick off, both oral and poster presentations showed the diversity of research within the thematic lines of CID.

In total, approximately 150 people attended the kick off symposium, including three speakers from abroad and also members of the advisory board: Jay Belsky (University of Californa, Davis, U.S.A.), Nick Martin (University of Queensland, Australia), and Michael Meaney (McGill University Montréal, Canada). During the scientific market, poster presentations of all participating universities showed the broadness of expertises in developmental research: from longitudinal cohort studies, brain development and genetics, environmental characteristics, behavioral intervention, to (animal) models of development.
